According to reports by The News of the World, the sale is virtually complete, although some matters remain to be resolved.
Shnaider, who had planned to launch his own team, Midland F1, who were due enter the sport next year, visited Jordan's Silverstone HQ in December, leading to speculation that a deal was in the pipeline.
It now appears that Shnaider has agreed to invest in Jordan, and although EJ will step down as team boss, he will remain as their commercial director, something he seemingly hinted at on Friday.
