Logisch, Ickx rost geen Mercedes-rijders van de baan of brengt haar crew in gevaar tijdens een oefen-pitstop in de warming up  Een ander groot verschil is dat Ickx een Audi contract heeft........en Tielemans niet.
Of TME / Audi de beslissing nemen over Tielemans zijn loopbaan in de DTM? Wellicht subtiele pressie vanuit het andere kamp?
