It doesn’t take much to get some Porschephiles going. Excellence publishes a spoof about the Panamera sedan coming to NASCAR, and they bite. Not to be outdone, AutoWeek puts out a bit that there is a GT1 project underway – not a car that might be called a GT1 (still unlikely) – but a car that would be entered in GT1 class racing.. A German guy named Hartmut denied at Miller that any such project is planned. Murphy is going to believe Hartmut on this one – for now.
