Teambesitzer Werner Schroeder hatte es - mit Sitz in Malmedy (Belgien) - ursprünglich mit der Zielsetzung historischer Rennen mit einem Gruppe C-Wagen aufgebaut.
Mit Wolfgang Kaufmann und Alexander Lofs Sieg gleich im zweiten Lauf hatte das mit belgischer Nennung fahrende Team (die Mechaniker stammen aus Deutschland) sicher nicht gerechnet.
