Lotus Elise GT1 Debut at Sebring

The IMSA website reports that the '97 Lotus Elise GT1 will enter the 12 hours of Sebring. Johnny Herbert is named to assist testing and development prior to the event. The Team Elite drivers will be announced at a later time.
2004 will be a year of testing. The team aims to run Le Mans in 2005. Strangly enough the car will compete in the LMP1 class thus racing against the R8's -- but what a car!
