Ik denk ook wel dat dat totaal niet te vergelijken valt.
Nascar rijdt voornamelijk op ovals.

Was ook niet mijn bedoeling om beide te vergelijken...was eerder een joke (hence the smiley)...ene rijdt op circuit, andere op oval met uitzondering op twee races. Het 'close racen-gehalte' doet sommigen gewoon denken aan Nascar. En de BRL's hebben toch iets weg van stockcars...

Ze zijn oorspronkelijk ook gebouwd met de gedachten om op ovals te gaan rijden.

Marc gaat samen met Danny Van Dongen een race in de BRL V6 Rijden.

De Benelux Racing League ontwaakte zaterdagochtend uit haar lange winterslaap. De populaire klasse, door velen gezien als de Koningsklasse, komt dit weekend voor de eerste maal dit jaar in actie. Aan de start zien we een fraai startveld, met 20 BRL-V6 auto’s, plus 14 Lights. Volop actie dus op de Assense piste. De snelle Belg Marc Goossens zette met een tijd van 1:47.273 de snelste tijd op de klokken. Natuurlijk, Goossens is een zeer ervaren piloot, maar zo zonder BRL-ervaring instappen en meteen naar pole trainen, is natuurlijk een puike prestatie.
Jacky van der Ende mag zondag naast hem op de eerste startrij plaatsnemen, terwijl Phil Bastiaans en Sandor van Es zich daarachter zullen opstellen.

Wat leuk! Ik vind de BRL een leuk kampioenschap om bezig te zien. En een weekendje Holland kost mij toch een pak minder dan naar Amerika te vliegen. :P
