Probleempje bij F1world.be :p:p:p
Wegens problemen met onze server waren er de afgelopen dagen vele problemen met de website. Momenteel werkt alles terug 100%. Er is echter 1 ding voorgoed verloren gegaan en dat is het forum. Er is een nieuw geinstalleerd dat de verbeterde versie is van het vorige. Helaas konden wij de accounts bij onze host niet recupereren en zal u zich dus opnieuw moeten inschrijven.

Wij hopen op jullie begrip voor deze situatie.

Ik doe even alsof ik deze thread niet gezien heb

Nuja, ze steken hoedanook veel tijd in hun site, maar probeer maar eens te concurreren met dé grote F1-sites als je je nieuws zelf van die sites haalt ,iets wat depaddock gaat proberen niet te doen.

Hier maken de bezoekers ZELF het ORIGINELE nieuws, he! Zelfs de Babe-foto's van Imola zijn door enkele "niet bij naam genoemde" leden gemaakt! Ik denk dat ze nog een beetje aan het bijslapen zijn van hun weekendje weg.

is er eigenlijk een back up van depaddock in case of emergency ?

ja

depaddock wordt minstens om de 2 weken gebackupped. Meestal sneller, maat zowieso om de 2 weken. Backup is ongeveer 50 MB.

trouwens dit is de backup die ik zelf maak en download. De server wordt ook iedere nacht gebackupped door de backuprobot bij de hosting-firma waar we zitten.

nu nog bij Vevida in Nederland. Momenteel ben ik met de laatste tests bezig vooraleer we verhuizen naar venturesonline. Dit is ergens in the middle of nowhere in the US. De afstand is een stukje groter, maar daar zullen jullie geen last van hebben. Hun servers + backbone zijn supersnel.
