Citroën C4 WRC in de startblokken!
Op het salon van Genéve stelde Citroën de nieuwe C4 WRC voor als concept car. Zo zal 'em er dus ongeveer gaan uitzien. Ze stellen nu al voorop dat er meer dan een jaar werk aan zal zijn. In principe zou de C4 bij de dealers moeten staan tegen het einde van dit jaar, maar zal Citroën naar alle waarschijnlijkheid ook nog het seizoen 2005 starten met de Xsara. Op diverse sites waren er al foto's te zien - 'k ga ze niet noemen uit vrees er eentje over te slaan - maar de foto's hier komen van rally-live.com
Precies of ze 'em een glazen dak willen gaan geven  Gezien het debacle met het C3 glazen dak ben ik eens benieuwd of dat de productie zal halen én of ze het deze keer wel goedkrijgen. Voor rally doeleinden lijkt het me uitgesloten. Maar goed, 't is een concept car.   Aan de achterkant te zien, zijn ze bij Citroën weer de zeer eigenzinnige kant aan't opgaan. Op zich kunnen we zoiets alleen maar toejuichen, maar toch content dat er 307 in mijn garage staat.  Benieuwd wat dat volgend jaar gaat geven.

Ik vind dat er al mooiere WRC's zijn geweest... maar de kans is wel heel groot dat hij brokken gaat maken in 2007.

Citroën schijnt in zijn nopjes te zijn met Kronos. Volgens de laatste berichten maakt men bij Citroën op dit moment de overweging om de C4 WRC in 2007 in te zetten via Kronos. Een vergelijkbare zoals constructie Subaru/Prodrive en Ford/M-sport. E.e.a te lezen in de autosport van 02-03-06.
