Er is een verschil in iemand daadwerkelijk bevestigen en iemand een kanshebber noemen hè

En op dat moment was er ook wel degelijk een kans...alleen wilde Verstappen niet voor 1 race naar de VS. Wellicht was hij bang dat hij door de mand zou vallen en na die ene wedstrijd voorgoed zijn afscheid in de autoracerij kon aankondigen, we zullen het nooit exact weten.

Is "De Nederlandse Pers" niet iets teveel gezegd voor een (Cowboy?) site als Champcar.nl?

Het team zelf heeft niets op de site
Jan's eigen website is al lang niet meer ververst.
De ChampCar site noemt het niet.
Berghoff toont het ook niet op de site.

Overigens wel vreemd dat Heylen's eigen management bureau het om 17:45 Nederlandse tijd nog niet kan bevestigen en verwijst naar een persbericht van Heylen dat 'binnenkort' zal volgen.

Maar goed, als Rick Gorne op de hoogte was en zijn medewerkers niet kan dat natuurlijk gebeuren.

Dit is gewoon het cadeau van Renault Sport voor z'n titel bij de Méganes.

Iedere Europees en nationale kampioen in de FR2000 en ook enkele andere kampioenen krijgen z'n test.

(Is niet meer dan 20rondjes hoor)
