Bij de nederlandse fans heeft Seb Bourdais al een nieuwe bijnaam......McChicken! De reacties op diverse sites en fora's in NL zijn overigens prachtig te noemen qua sentiment. Doornbos is the new hero, Albers de schlemiel waar niemand meer achter staat. Verstappen-fans die massaal achter Doornbos gaan staan (of je daar nu zo blij moet zijn?
 ).Yeps, Zolder en Assen.....zet er maar wat kassa's bij. Regel wel een securityploeg voor McChicken, euhmmm Bourdais

De uitzending van de race loopt momenteel op z'n einde op MotorsTV en ik vind Bourdais z'n uitspraken ook wel straf...had het niet echt van hem verwacht eigenlijk. Hij zei oa het volgende over Doornbos: 'He didn't finish the race fair and square'...waarop een hevige 'boe-geroep' volgde vanuit de tribunes...
