Durango – LMES & Le Mans in '04
Silvia Pinton, who is responsible for Marketing & Advertising at the Durango team, tells Claude Foubert that the Italian team will “submit an entry for the 2004 Le Mans 24 Hours and that the team will compete in the Le Mans European Series as well”.

Ja de ex Oreca Dallara's.
LMES gaat een superfeest worden als je het mij vraagt.
Bestaat er zoiets als een seizoensticket?

Final LMES Dates
The LMES dates have been adjusted again. Officially, the four dates now read like this (with the Nurburgring event one week earlier than originally stated).

9 May, Monza
3 July, Nürburgring (not 11 July)
14 August, Silverstone (not 15 August)
12 September Spa.

The Le Mans Test Day takes place on 25 April, and the 24 Hours on 12 / 13 June.

Moving the Nurburgring date means that it is now the same weekend as the Lime Rock ALMS race, but the European race is on the Saturday, Lime Rock on the Monday.

News reaches us that a fourth Audi R8 looks likely to race in 2004.

Alfonso D'Orleans e Bourbon, team Principal of Racing Engineering is presumably biting his fingernails a little at the moment.

So will it be four Audis at Le Mans and will it be tthree in European racing next season or a pair in the ALMS?
Deze vierde R8 wordt als tweede wagen door Audi Sport UK ingezet.

Dus 3 R8s in LMES en eentje in ALMS.
