Mannekes... eigenlijk is deze topic vrij dubbelzinnig... gaat het over het einde van een wagen of over de geboorte van een nieuwe wagen ? Een nieuw team ? Een nieuwe teamchef ? Wie zal het zeggen ? Ik alvast niet (ik ben gerust : ik weet het, wachten jullie nog maar eventjes...)

DTM Looks or not. If its build by GS Motorsport I'm sure it will look stunning. And what looks good, goes... The new car should look almost the same as the car from Johannes Scheid Motorsport in the "Langstrecken pokal". Both teams buy their carbon bodyparts from the same company in Germany. There should be somebody on this site who has a picture from this blue E46 V8 co-driven this year by Mario Merten. What I have heard the last couple of weeks is that G&A Racing would like to run 3 cars (2 E46 and 1 older E36 bodyshell) in the Belcar championship. The older E36 model should also run in some of the BTCS races and the 2004 miles next year. The leading car would be driven by G.S and Gino. The second E 46 that would be powered by a V6 (G.S. and Gino get the powerfull V8 from their old car) would be driven by M. DeKeermaecker and BMW dealer P. Smets. For the third entry they are still looking for drivers with a budget. A new team chef? Mistery tels us. That could be right. A "great" man from a front running Porsche team could make the switch... And get some help from Mistery as well at G&A ?

Om het wat overzichterlijk te houden de thread laten splitsen.
Momenteel staat dit vast (zoals ook op onze site te lezen staat): 2 BMW's E-46: - Guino Kenis en Georg Severich - Michaël Dekeersmaecker en Patrick Smets Wat betreft onze E-36 M3 GTR, de auto waarmee we dit jaar gereden hebben (nr 74), staat er op dit moment nog niets vast. Wat wel vaststaat is dat Edwin Segier, vorig jaar actief bij RTM, ons team komt vervoegen. Hij wordt tijdens de Belcar-weekends teamchef op de wagen van Georg en Guino en zal zich bovendien ook bezig houden met de administratie van beide wagens. Ook bij andere races waaraan ons team deelneemt zijn hij en zijn vriendin van de partij! Door zijn jaren ervaring in de racerij zal hij een jong team als het onze zeker en vast nog veel kunnen bijbrengen.

eventjes alles op een rijtje zetten,
BMW heeft dus WEL een auto gehad in DTM uitvoering, in 1999 is men met dit project bezig geweest maar er zijn slechts een paar mensen die van dit project afweten(wisten). Iedereen mag weten dat ik goede connecties hen bij Motorsport en daardoor kunnen wij dus spreken van een DTM Look. Het zal dus zeker niet zijn zoals de Scheid BMW hier een paar post eerder. Hier zullen jullie het dus voorlopig mee moeten doen. Vriendelijke groet Georg Severich

Dat waren pas auto's, die groep 5. Ford Capri Zakspeed, BMW 320 Turbo, Porsche 935, BMW M1 Turbo...
