Diezelfde Heylen heeft net 1 rondje afgelegd in de spare car van Dale Coyne Racing tijdens de test op Fontana.

Juist, voorlopig nog de traagste daar in Fontana, maar er komt stilaan verbetering in.

2002 series champion Cristiano da Matta (#19 American Medical Response Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone) will get a change of scenery this year in his search for his first Long Beach win. Gearing up for his sixth Champ Car season, da Matta takes over as the team leader for Dale Coyne Racing, partnering with Belgian rookie Jan Heylen (#11 Sonny’s BBQ Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone).

Pastorelli is hier vandaag in Long Beach niet gesignaleerd. Heylen zeer zeker wel en is idd bevestigd door Coyne.
