Racing Festival 2009 3/4 oktober Spa
Het Racing Festival op Spa is een van de weekends waar het voor mij jaren terug allemaal begonnen is. Volgend weekend is het weer zover, dan is dit GRATIS festival weer te bezoeken. Wederom een grote variatie aan series en deelnemers. Een overzicht van de series en de aantallen:

Formule Renault 2.0 N.E.C. => 20 stuks
Renault Clio BE + NL => 43 stuks
Caterham => 65 stuks
Legends => 32 stuks
DSC => 60 stuks
Ginetta G20 => 39 stuks
Lotus Seven => 62 stuks

In totaal 321 racewagens in de paddock, dat moet actie opleveren op de baan Vooral de Caterhams gaan actie maken op de piste. Deze organisatie heb ik mogen aanschouwen op 1 augustus j.l. te Brands Hatch, om je vingers bij af te likken.

  • Lagrange duikt ook hier op!
  • De Francois Duval ??

Lotus:
  • JED 2 Racing en Steegmans duiken weer eens op

Wat betreft Duval? De echte is i.i.g. aan het werk in de Clio's:

In de DSC zien we twee minimaal twee wagens van de BTCS aan het werk. De S1 Megane van Delahaye en de Audi "body" S2 van Fumal. Gaat een leuke zondag worden

Ook zien we de BGTC Dodge Viper van de Gebroeders Thiers aan de start.

Tevens maakt ook de Aquila CR1 zijn debuut in de DSC. Ziet er me best een leuke wagen uit!

Een schitterend weekend en een echte klassieker voor de autosportliefhebbers! Lekker veel racen, geen pauze's en met een beetje regen uitermate spectaculair...Echt van die dagen dat je ook alleen maar de bekende gezichten ziet van toeschouwers die er altijd zijn. Gezellig...

Voor hen die ook gaan: veel plezier en mss tot zaterdag en/of zondag. Thuisblijvers kunnen op de Live-Stream kijken....

Moeten de gratis tickets worden afgedrukt of mag men zo binnen. Op de site van DSC kan je de gratis tickets vinden.

de kaarten moeten afgedrukt worden, anders moet je betalen denk ik.

Volgens mij heb je een grotere kans om de lotto te winnen dan drie Moslers te laten crashen

Welk publiek? Zelden zo weinig volk gezien als vandaag! Dramatisch slechte bezoekersaantallen! Rond 10.30 op Les Combes, ik was welgeteld de tweede wagen. Zelfs de poort was dicht, dan er maar onder door. Gedurende de Lotus race heb ik welgeteld 6 man voorbij zien lopen. Vanwege de regen dan maar richting tribunes gegaan, op de oude overdekte hoofdtribune hebben er gedurende een wedstrijd nooit meer dan 300 man gezeten. Keek je richting eua rouge/radilion zag je hoogstens 20 man langs de draad staan.

Vraag me alleen af waarom je dat ticket moet uitprinten om het aan de kassa om te wisselen voor een kartonnen versie. Gooi de poort dan gewoon open, bespaar je tenminste nog geld als organisatie.
