De Pugs, as usual , voorop. Snelheid zit er wel in, betrouwbaarheid is een ander verhaal. Dat schijnt nog niet helemaal lekker te zitten, tot op heden heeft men nog geen succesvolle 24-uurs test achter de rug. Er zij dus kansen voor de concurrentie morgen. Wie weet gaat er een LMP2 met de algemene winst lopen, zie bijv. plek 4 van Barazi Epsilon.

Leuk detail. Tijdens een test afgelopen week op Paul Ricard waren slechts twee wagens aanwezig. Pug met o.a. Lamy en AM met Brabham.........twee wagens op de baan!! Toch hebben ze elkaar geraakt

En beide Saleens die mooi de eerste startrij innemen in GT1. Valt toch op dat de Larbre DBR9 ineens een stuk trager is dit jaar zonder Lamy in het team.

Ik had ook verwacht dat de Gordon F430 meer vooraan zou staan in GT2 met Palttala achter het stuur. Of zou hij de kwalificaties niet gereden hebben?
Maar dat hangt ook natuurlijk weer van zoveel dingen af...

Lamy is dan ook iemand met veel klasse. (Spa pre-race testdag 2 jaar geleden met de 550 een knaltijd van 2:13 ) Ik denk dat ze hem vooral missen om tot een goede afstelling te komen.

Dat is wel zo, maar Bouchut is toch ook de minste niet, die zou toch grotendeels het gat moeten kunnen opvullen wat Lamy heeft opengelaten.

Mij lijkt het toch dat Bouchut de laatste jaren een mindere piloot is geworden. De pure snelheid van vroeger lijkt eruit te zijn.

De #7 Peugeot staat nu toch al een hele tijd in de box. Iemand die weet wat het probleem is?

17H51 : Nicolas Minassian rentre aux stands et les mécanos ne se précipitent pas du tout ! Ca sent la fin pour la 908 n°7 !!! La voiture est rentrée dans son box, c'est terminé !

Pour la Peugeot n°7, c'est un problème d'embrayage qui a immobilisé l'auto. Le système avait commencé à donner des signes d'alerte au 160ème tour. Il faut signaler que jamais les 908 n'avaient encore connu de problème à ce niveau là.

Dat is balen voor de Matmut Porsche. Ben je leider in GT2 en ga je op deze manier van de baan.

Dan heb jij de eerste FIA GT race van het jaar niet gezien. Bouchut reed toen zeer hard tegen de limiet dat de Lamborghini Murcielago plots een snelle wagen leek

Dus de hoop die er was dat er eindelijk iemand Audi écht kan gaan bedreigen tijdens Le Mans is ook weer verdwenen in het niets...

Tijdens LMS vind ik die problemen niet erg (hebben privateers ook een kans), maar op LM hoop ik dat ze Audi goed en 24 uur lang tegenstand kunnen bieden.
