But Red Bull said today they would like Liuzzi to continue racing for a fourth race, with Klien returning to the race seat for the Canadian Grand Prix next month.

"After having evaluated both drivers' performance during their three race stints, the team have decided that Tonio will continue as race driver at the next GP in Germany," sporting director Christian Horner said.

"Christian will then be back in the race car from Montreal, having made a valuable contribution to the team in the last 3 races as third driver."

nu wordt het helemaal ingewikkeld. Ik denk dat ze dit seizoen nog meer gaan wisselen (liuzzi in Monza als racer bijvoorbeeld).

het is natuurlijk wel zo dat Liuzzi de pech ahd dat Monaco erbij zat. Als je daar al is een foutje maakt ben je niet direkt een slechte rijder.

Vitantonio Liuzzi is quite the ladies' man and he proved he is an old-school racer ahead of Red Bull Racing's test next week at Silverstone. Asked to test on the Wednesday next week, he called team boss Christian Horner to complain. The reason? He was having a new bed delivered to the Red Bull funhouse, where he lives with teammate Christian Klien, and had to be in to check it was to his satisfaction. The team duly obliged, allowing him to test on Friday instead, and he later confessed: "I actually get the bed delivered on Tuesday, but I wanted to be able to test it out..."

hmm, ik dacht dat RBR dit voor het seizoen al had aangekondigd? dat het 2de zitje een wisselrol zou zijn voor Klien en Liuzzi?

Volgens F1racing.nl zou luizzi wel eens naar sauber kunnen gaan, naargelang villeneuve zijn prestaties.

Mocht Peter Sauber besluiten om Jacques Villeneuve te ontslaan, lijkt Vitantonio Liuzzi zijn aangewezen vervanger.
