Maxime Dumarey wil het proberen in Nascar
Maxime Dumarey, zopas 18 geworden, wil januari 2007 naar de USA vertrekken om te proberen een zitje te bemachtigen in één van de Nascar series.
Teneinde zich vertrouwd te maken met het racen op ovaal heeft hij de ganse week het circuit van Warneton afgehuurd en worden hem de basis principes bijgebracht door het Roots V8 Racing Team op een Camso V8.

Ik heb hem tijdens de 10 uren in zolder nog gesproken en hij wou toen verder gaan in de GT's hij is dan toch van gedacht veranderd. Heeft hij goeie raad gekregen van Goossens ?

De kans dat je geld krijgt i.p.v. het welbekende budget mee te brengen is in de States ietwat groter Goossens was wat dat betreft zeer duidelijk in het zijn interview. Met de kennis van nu was die reeds 10 jaar terug vertrokken naar de States. Leerlingen Heyelen en Dumarey luisteren goed

Zou het gezien de leeftijd van Dumarey niet verstandig te zijn om de komende jaren in een of andere midget-serie van start te gaan?

Afgelopen seizoen is Dumarey actief geweest in NASCAR Camping World East Series en enkele ARCA races. Wat gaat hij in 2009 doen?

De Nederlander Joey Hansen gaat in 2009 racen in de NASCAR Canadian Tires Series.

Het lijkt erop dat het Amerikaanse avontuur van onze Belgische talenten erop zit voorlopig? Ik ben er alleszins niet rouwig om. Ik zie Goossens bvb liever in Europa rijden dan in de States.

Is dat een Hansen van het GT Project met de naam Hansen?

Is reden van Dumarey ook bekend? Is het stockcar racen op ovals niet goed bevallen? Studie?
