Dat zou mooi zijn. Zo is er wat meer bezetting in de ALMS P1 klasse.

Ze zouden het anders wel kunnen gebruiken in de GT1 klasse.

Na de crash heeft Rockenfeller enige tijd lopen prutsen aan zijn vernielde Audi maar dat wisten we al. Wist niet dat ie hem nog gestart heeft, zie deze foto:

is zelfs live een paar seconden op Motors TV geweest
mooi dat het hem gelukt is, maar veel beweging zal er nooit nog ingezeten hebben

Hoezo slachtoffer eigen technologie? De 997 RSR rijdt ook met een carbon fiber koppeling, dus van een "eigen" technologie kan niet gesproken worden.

t is door de speed limiter achter de SC dat die kapot gegaan is, en dat is volgens Gavin ook wat er gebeurd is in St-Pete.

de 997 RSR heeft dat nog niet voorgehad...

Wij stonden in de buurt toen hij hem terug gestart kreeg. Wij hoorden voor een paar seconden een hels lawaai vanuit zijn Audi komen, gevolgd door een grote rookpluim. Toen wisten we niet goed wat het was, maar door de foto te zien, weten we dat nu wel.
Als ik mij niet vergis heeft hij hem daarvoor ook al eens aan de praat gekregen.

Niet de speedlimiter. Ze hebben op de Corvette een setting die brandstof bespaart achter de safetycar. Zal wel te maken hebben met een arm mengsel of zo, daar weet ik de details ook niet van. Die setting zorgde echter voor een vibratie in de motor die de driveshaft om zeep hielp. Dat hadden ze in St. Petersburg ook al, maar nu pas realiseerden ze zich dat die 2 zaken met elkaar te maken hadden.

Zoals corvetteboy al had gepost : Rs are using a special fuel saving mode which cuts out a number of cylinders. This appears to have caused a vibration which caused damage to the prop shaft . Geen arm brandstofmengsel .
