Blijkt maar weer eens dat Duitsers dan zo af en toe toch humor hebben. Wat betreft de trainingen. Bekende namen vooraan, Scirocco's doen het qua snelheid niet slecht.

Een ONGEZIEN aantal motorwissels tijdens de 2 qualifying sessies, 4 bij mijn teams alleen al!

Een half uur voor het einde van de qualifying 1 van de OPC Astra's totaal in stukken na ongeluk op Dottinger Hohe.
Training ingekort en het leek er mij op alsof Franchitti zijn nodige qualifying stint niet heeft kunnen doen op de Hisaq Porsche.

Enkele nacht pitlane shots.
Farfus erg opgewonden na zijn eerste Nordschleife nachtstint.


R8 uiteindelijk toch nog tijdig de baan op.

Porsche van Land was ook al binnen met een kapotte band. Ook de Zakspeed viper staat momenteel in de box, net als de Apollo.

Voor wie satelliet heeft, het is te volgen op DSF.

Nog geen uur gereden en de top 3 van vorig jaar is al op achtervolgen aangewezen:
- Waterpomp problemen voor de Manthey Porsche
- Lekke band voor de Land Porsche
- Motorprobleem? voor de Zakspeed Viper

niet echt een goed begin dus, wel mooie eerste plaats voor de Alzen Porsche!
