Champcars naar Zolder in 2007 !!

Verschil tussen een promoter en een organisator kennen ze daar niet. Net zo goed als dat men beweerde dat Nicky Pastorelli na zijn eerste onderbreking van dit seizoen het volledige seizoen zou afmaken..........dat is ook iets anders afgelopen

Denk aan Brands Hatch waar het hele circus een paar jaar terug te gast was.Er is maar 1 heikel punt, ter hoogte van de twee chicanes. Beetje smal.........zeer zeker als de beheerders van het circuit het toestaan dat juist op die plek een of andere bikini-carwash is

Circuit is volgens mij inderdaad hetzelfde als dat wat het F1 circus gebruikt. Alleen vind ik het raar dat voor de vrije trainingen en kwalificaties een andere 'timing-line' gebruiken als voor de warm-up en de race. Tot en met de kwalificaties worden de rondjes getimed op een punt dat zo'n 200 meter voor de laatste chicane ligt. Voor de warm-up en de race gebruiken ze dan weer de normale start-finish lijn om het tondjes te af te klokken. eea staat toch onderaan dat pdf-je te lezen. Iemand enig idee wat hiervoor de reden kan zijn?

Ondanks dat er drie circuits in de running zijn geef ik Zolder de meeste kans. Waarom? Kijk eens naar de mogelijke omstandigheden in 2007
- Mr. Berghoff is een buurman van het circuit - Mr. Muermans (en bijbehorende VIPS) wonen er vlak naast, Zolder ligt om de hoek i.p.v. het verre noorden waar Assen ligt - "Nederlands" team in 2007 met Muermans/Stoddart - Flinke bups lokale piloten. Heylen, Zwolsmans, Pastorelli, Doornbos, Verstappen, Ho-Pin Tung staan allemaal in de speculaas rijtjes voor 2007. - Homologatie? Geen probleem WSbR 3.5 zijn waarchijnlijk sneller dan de nieuwe Champcars. WSbR 3.5 mochten toch rijden in 2006 - Goede kans op een hoge publieke opkomst. - Geen F1 circuit (zoals Hockenheim) Le Mans kan met Bourdais nog wat roet in het eten gooien, Hockenheim lijkt me niet meer dan een laatste ultieme uitwijkmogelijkheid. Van beide circuits zijn wellicht de paddocks en faciliteiten beter van aard maar dat is van ondergeschikt belang in deze tijden.
